Seremei Buguya
Thanks to You
The idea for the Garifuna Collective was first hatched in the 1980s by the famed Belizean musician Andy Palacio, who led the band until his death in 2008.
The 2013 album Ayó, meaning "Goodbye," is a tribute to Palacio, with the closing song "Seremei Buguya (Thanks to You)" serving as a nod to his legacy.
